Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring BGC Bell Gardens Concrete for any concrete services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, whether residential or commercial. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide professional concrete installation, repair, and maintenance services including but not limited to:
- Concrete driveways and parking areas
- Concrete patios and outdoor living spaces
- Concrete foundations and slab work
- Stamped and decorative concrete
- Concrete repair and replacement
- Sidewalks, walkways, and flatwork
- Commercial concrete services
- Retaining walls and masonry work
- Concrete leveling and lifting
- Concrete steps and stairs
- Pool decks and garage floors
3. Estimates and Quotes
All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Estimates are based on the information and site conditions known at the time. If site conditions differ significantly from what was assessed during the estimate, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly. Final quotes will be provided in writing before work begins.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your contract and may include:
- A deposit may be required before work begins, typically 25-50% of the total project cost
- Progress payments for larger projects as outlined in your contract
- Final payment is due upon project completion and your satisfaction
- We accept cash, check, and credit card payments
Late payments may incur additional fees. If payment is not received as agreed, we reserve the right to place a lien on the property where work was performed.
5. Project Timeline
We provide estimated project timelines based on typical conditions. Actual completion times may vary due to weather, site conditions, material availability, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work diligently to complete your project as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.
6. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful project, customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about site conditions and any underground utilities
- Obtaining any necessary permits or homeowner association approvals
- Ensuring clear access to the work area
- Removing any vehicles, equipment, or personal property from the work area
- Arranging for pets to be secured away from the work area
- Being available for questions or decisions during the project
7. Warranty and Guarantees
We stand behind our work. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship for a period specified in your contract, typically one to two years from project completion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, ground settling, freeze-thaw cycles beyond normal conditions, or other factors outside our control. Concrete is a natural material and may develop minor surface cracks due to curing and settling. Small hairline cracks do not affect structural integrity and are not covered under warranty.
8. Changes and Cancellations
If you need to make changes to your project after work has begun, we will provide a change order with updated pricing and timeline. Changes may result in additional costs and delays. If you need to cancel your project, cancellation fees may apply based on work already completed, materials ordered, and scheduling commitments made.
9. Liability and Insurance
BGC Bell Gardens Concrete carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, pipes, or wiring that were not properly marked or disclosed. We are not responsible for damage to landscaping, sprinkler systems, or other property features unless specifically agreed to in writing.
10. Dispute Resolution
If any disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to find a fair solution. If we cannot resolve the dispute through direct communication, both parties agree to pursue mediation before taking legal action.
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. This includes but is not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of use.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
